Sony India is gearing up to launch the latest
Xperia smartphone, Sony Xperia P, by next week in the country.
With the development said, "Sony Xperia P will be launched in the fourth week of May (2012) and it will be available for around Rs 25,000.
The Sony Xperia P based on Google's Android 2.3 operating system and has a 4-inch scratch-
resistant TFT touchscreen with a resolution of
960x540 pixels.
The phone comes powered by a
1 GHz dual-core processor.
On the camera front it has an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash.
Powered by Sony's Bravia Engine technology for better display.
The Xperia device feature 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity options and is DLNA certified as well.
The Xperia P has internal storage of 16 GB.
